Catering services at DHSG are delivered in house by our own staff. We pride ourselves on a varied menu providing the right balance between good quality, healthy food and value for money.

Opening Times: The dining hall is open from Monday to Friday at the following times.
Breakfast Club
08.00 to 08.40
Serving hot sausage or bacon baguettes, plain or chocolate croissant, pancakes, cereal, cooked breakfast, toast, fresh fruit, hot chocolate, water, juice and carton milk.
Morning Break
11.10 to 11.30
Serving hot snacks, pasta, salad bar, sandwiches and baguettes, fresh fruit, hot chocolate, water, juice and carton milk.
Lunch
13.35 to 14.20
Serving main meals, pasta, jacket potatoes, hot snacks, sandwiches and baguettes, salad bar, cold snacks, yoghurts, salads, cakes & biscuits, fruit pots, fresh fruit, water, juice, carton milk.
Servery
We have 2 serving areas which offer the same choice of hot food
Please queue at either station as all options will be available at both.
Cutlery
A reminder that metal cutlery is to be used in the dining hall only.
Bamboo cutlery is only to be used for takeaway.
Cleaning Station
Please ensure you scrape all food from plates into the provided bins and recycle appropriately. Metal cutlery then goes in to the provided washing bowl and plates go onto the tray racks.

Other Key Cost Changes:
We charge for a main meal shown on the menu. If you choose to add an additional main meal item e.g. chicken fillet, this will be charged at - £1.50
We run a cashless catering system in school, using a Facial Recognition System, operated by CRB Cunninghams. Students/parents can opt out of the system if they wish. Students and parents and carers can top up online using iPayimpact.
