6th form historians visit The Houses of Parliament
Recently, our 6th Form historians had an incredible experience visiting the heart of British democracy at the Houses of Parliament! They were granted access to the House of Lords and the House of Commons, immersing themselves in the historic halls of decision-making. The visit included a hands-on workshop on political elections, deepening their understanding of the UK’s democratic processes.
Afterwards, they headed to the iconic Westminster Abbey, where they paid respects at the tombs of Tudor monarchs, including Henry VII, Elizabeth I, and Mary, Queen of Scots. A truly inspiring day bringing history to life!
